Few people know that Frank Lloyd Wright camped at Squam Lake in the early 1900's to further his studies in organic architecture, designing structures that were in harmony with humanity and its environment. A few years ago, an Architect from Chicago named John Thomas, while on vacation at Squam with his lovely wife Jana, uncovered Frank's sketches in an old cabin in the woods and began looking for land to build the "Wingspread" residence. High atop Squam River Landing the work of Frank, John, Jana and Sippican Partners Construction now awaits your visit. Come on by and we'll tell you the real story, not the fake news.
